FAVOURITE TOURIST DESTINATIONS IN JAPAN
TOKYO
The capital of Japan, Tokyo, is a perfect blend of culture, chaos and lights. Packed with diversity, the city is full of infinite possibilities as Tokyo has always found itself in the transitional phase with no intention of settling down. Art, music, robots, the city has it all. With skyscrapers that look like diamonds in the daylight transforming into a scene from a cyberpunk video game when the neon lights come alive in the night, everything is a sight to see in Tokyo.

Most interesting is a mock-up animation studio called “Where A Film Is Born” where visitors can see pictures of the creative processes involved in the making of the animations and illustrations, unreleased sketches and storyboards. Forget your devices because photography and recording is strictly prohibited inside the museum to stay true to its idea of being ‘a portal to a storybook’. Like the museum’s slogan “let’s get lost together”, the Ghibli Museum is a must visit for anime lovers and anyone who wishes to get lost in the magical worlds of Ghibli.
